Hotel
We have picked Asakusa View Hotel located in Tokyo to call home. Book your room which can accommodate 2-4 people ( and even 6) if you want to share. They offer an airport shuttle round-trip for an additional fee.
Don’t forget to add your buffet breakfast addition.

In this experience, we will visit the most popular tourist spots in Tokyo.

This tour will allow you to discover one of the largest and most popular areas of Tokyo. Shinjuku is well known for its nightlife and restaurants.
You start the tour with the Game Center, a place around arcade games and video games, you will join Mario in his crazy race or face your fears in a haunted house. You will stop to greet Godzilla, to continue your route towards Golden Gai, these alleys filled with small atypical bars, you will stop there a moment in order to benefit from the atmosphere and to test a Japanese drink.
You will then enjoy the atmosphere of the Japanese Game Center where you can take a Japanese souvenir photo. The evening will end in a Karaoke, the guide will guide you into the den of Japanese entertainment so that you enjoy this unique moment.

Sushi Making Class:
1:30-3:00pm
There are various kinds of sushi, but we’ll be making 5 kinds thi time (Nigiri sushi, Tamagyaki-sushi, winding winding, manual winding, fine winding). Generally there are two kinds of hand grips (kotegaeshi/tategaeshi). We will make sushi by this method. Eat lunch together and get your sushi questions answered by our guide.
Other things to note;
There's nothing special to prepare. Please come with casual clothes.

Ramen Dinner:
3 - Hour Walking Experience
6:30-9:30pm
At three award-winning ramen shops you'll sample 6 completely different, MINI BOWLS of delicious ramen. These tour-exclusive mini bowls are about 1/4 to 1/3 the size of full ramen bowls. In other words, you'll be able to eat a great variety of ramen!
This tour has won multiple awards - in 2020 being named one of Trip Advisor's top 20 tours (in all of Japan) and the "top food tour in Tokyo" by the Japanese government (Eat! Meet! Japan 2020 initiative).
You'll get to choose your 6 ramen (from 12 choices). You'll also learn all about ramen throughout the tour - from its history to its preparation. We'll cover a different ramen topic at each of the shops, via colorful handouts and visuals.

Sake Tasting Experience
10am-3pm
In this experience, we’ll go inside of 300 years old Brewery to show you the history and culture which is extremely unique compared to wine production, and also we will taste different Sakes (I will keep bringing Sakes until you say stop haha) so you will hopefully find THE ONE to turn you into the Sake Fanatic. In addition, the location we drink has breathtaking rick beautiful nature, and you will be surprised by another face of Tokyo!!
Sake, Japanese Rice Wine, is very unique Japanese traditional liquor like no other in the world.
It would be great if you could let me know your preference of alcohol (Dry/Sweet, Acidic/not-Acidic, to feel the alcohol/easy to drink etc.) in advance so we can think about what to choose!
Akihabara and Tokyo's Otaku Culture 3pm-7pm
Explore the weird and wonderful world of otaku - the so-called ‘geek culture’ of gaming superfans - in Akihabara, the district famed for it. Your host’s insight into otaku is essential if you have a hope of deciphering its many subcultures, trends, and hotspots!
You'll explore districts like Ikebukuro and Akihabara and discover all things anime, manga and cosplay. In Japan, anyone obsessed with these things are called otaku, and in Akihabara, they flaunt their fixations in the form of cosplay, intricate costumes of their favorite characters complete with rainbow-colored wigs.
You could discover Mandrake, an eight-floor archive of collectibles and comics, or if you’re more intrigued by Japan’s gadgets and gizmos, you might prefer Yodobashi Camera. Browse stores where you can find anything from games to comics or cosplay costumes to electronics - there are plenty to choose from. Your host is well-versed in 'geek-culture' and will make sure you experience the best of this weird and wonderful subculture.
Discover the true meaning of kawaii (cute) at AKB48 Cafe, a sweet treat paradise dedicated to Akihabara’s favorite J-Pop girl group, or grab a bite at a maid cafe, where costumed waitresses will treat you like royalty before you check out Nakano Broadway, Tokyo’s mecca to anything and everything anime!

Gion Night Tour & Whisky 7:30pm-9:30pm
We’ll start strolling the beautiful entertainment area of Gion. We’ll go 3 main Flower Districts(Geisha area) including Ponto-cho and see the amazingly photogenic street, taking some photo stop. This can be the hi-light of this area. Night time is very beautiful. If you are lucky, you may see beautiful Geisha “professional Japanese art entertainer”, they are "living art".
We'll also explain the culture and system of Gion and Maiko and take you to the photogenic street.
Next, We'll go to Japanese whiskey bar which providing a variety kind of Japanese whiskey including vintage one. You will definitely find your favorite. Sake, Shochu, Beer, and Softdrink and some snacks are also available.
Let's have a drink and share a fantastic Kyoto nightlife.

Dinner with Maiko at Heian Jingu Kaikan
Tonight, you will be heading to the heart of Kyoto's most famous geisha district for a sumptuous
'kaiseki' dinner accompanied with maiko entertainment. The meal itself will be a real feast served in a beautiful Japanese room. However, rather than sitting on the floor in the traditional Japanese style, for the comfort of all guests’ tables and chairs are provided. There are sure to be some delicacies on offer you will not have experienced before!
The geisha and maiko will perform traditional dance accompanied by the shamisen (Japanese guitar) at the front of the room allowing you to enjoy this special art form up close. Photographs are of course, permitted. You will also be introduced to some of the less formal maiko arts such as Japanese drinking games and have the chance to chat with the geisha and maiko through an
English-speaking assistant who will be on hand throughout the evening! The dinner will last around two hours and all food and drinks are included. This unique opportunity, something which has traditionally only been available to a privileged elite in Japanese society, is sure to one of the highlights of your trip and will live long in the memory.

Kintsugi, Story and Demonstration 1:30-3:30pm ( Optional)
Kintsugi is a custom in Japan to restore things you usually use almost every day , for example, rice bowls , tea cups, ceramics and wooden items.
Restore things with 100% Japanese made lacquer.
In this program, you will learn what procedures there are in kintsugi with movies with English subtitles.
Normally, it takes about two months to have broken ceramics completed to kintsugi. We will serve you a cup that has been in the middle of the restoration. You will sprinkle gold to the ceramic as its final step.
You can take it home.
